Developing sustainable offices to enhance the user experience
As a value-add investor, AEPM is able to influence the design of our real estate assets to ensure we implement best-in-class energy efficiency measures whilst creating places which have a positive benefit to the people occupying the space.
Well-being and sustainability underpinned AEPM’s development of two new build office buildings in Paris; KONECT a 11,400 sqm office located at the crossroad of Paris 17, St-Ouen and Clichy, and TANGRAM a 14,300 sqm office located in the Châtillon-Montrouge area. This sustainable design approach was a key factor in the successful leasing of the office buildings post development, demonstrating AEPM’s ability to deliver on our sustainability commitments whilst also generating value for our investors.
Promoting good health and well-being
We worked with the design team to create buildings which respond to the needs and well-being of the users by including flexible working spaces, access to natural light, outdoor spaces, green spaces and fitness and relaxation areas. The completed products included well-connected hub areas for socialising, collaboration or individual working, co-working spaces, rooftop terraces and a flexible restaurant and gym with showers and changing rooms.
Developing energy efficient buildings
InfraRed obtained leading efficiency ratings on TANGRAM (HQE “Excellent” and BREEAM “Good”) in addition to enhancing the building’s use of energy and optimising the interior air quality. The development works also included the remediation of ground contamination. Project KONECT was awarded three different green certifications (HQE Excellent, BREEAM Very Good and Wired Score Gold) at delivery, through its enhanced and efficient technical specifications.
