Portfolio of energy-efficient senior houses aiming at underserved communities
Maintaining the social inclusion of the elderly population
Our senior residences offer a unique solution for autonomous seniors occasionally requiring assistance, a population which does not fit in traditional care homes. Those seniors are usually left alone in their existing homes which are increasingly un-adapted to their needs.
Providing a solution to the French public healthcare system deficit
Solutions are investigated at state and regional levels to develop alternatives to care homes which financially threat the French welfare system. Our senior residences are a strong alternative warmly welcomed by their local communities.
Best in class standards
Above and beyond its direct competitors, our operating partner Heurus is boasting several service-related labels certifying the quality of services provided by the operator. These labels capture both quantitative and qualitative criteria, including staff working conditions. Heurus has also its own independent Ethics & Innovation Board. The board is in charge of such matters related to the geriatric sector in France. It supports the Executive Board in the implementation of regulatory and legal evolutions of the sector and independently assesses the quality of services offered in the residences.
Developing energy efficient buildings
As part of AEPM’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, all the senior residences of AEPM’s portfolio will achieve high energy efficiency standards. All residences will comply at minimum with the RT 2012 thermal regulation which imposes a maximum energy consumption of 50kWep psm/p.a. From time to time, and where the budget allows to efficiently, the residences will seek to obtain additional environmental labels (BREEAM, NF HABITAT HQE, Effinergie).
